4th Annual Arts In The Air Professional Artists Exhibition and Sale
May 2nd, 11:00-1:00, Artists and Collectors Brunch
May 2nd, 4:00-6:00, Opening Reception
May 2nd- May 25th, Exhibit and Sale, Rockefeller Institute, Morrilton, AR
I am really excited about participating in this show. I have the opportunity to offer 4-6 pieces for the exhibit and will likely include girls of wonder as well as still lifes. I am certain to enjoy seeing some of the artists from around the state whom I have met at other functions. The Rockefeller Institute is a wonderful place to spend a couple of days relaxing and talking about art.
Saturday May 2nd, the exhibit kicks off with the Artists and Collectors Brunch, where according to the Institute you can “Visit with some of Arkansas’ premier artists while sharing a casual lakeside brunch with them at WRI Boathouse Pavilion. Enjoy comments from the juror of the show as he announces the Purchase Prize and Merit Awards. Then be the first to view their works on exhibit with ”first purchase” opportunity.” Later that afternoon from 4pm-6pm there will be an Opening Reception where you can meet many of the artists and purchase works from the exhibit.” Tickets for the Artists and Collectors Brunch as well as the Opening Reception are available online through the Institute. I hope to meet you there.
White Street Art Walk
Friday, May 15th 5pm-9pm, Studio 36 White Street, Eureka Springs, AR
The local artists of Eureka Springs open their homes and studios for the liveliest street party of the year. Started by Eleanor Lux, Zeek Taylor, and Mary Springer, the Annual White Street Walk has been bringing artists and collectors together for over 30 years. Jerri Stevens of Studio 36 White Street has invited five artists to create displays, sell art, and play. Jerri and I exhibited our paintings together last year at the Big-Eyed Girls Take on the Glamourpusses exhibit at Abrya Studios and I am excited to be continuing the playful battle of the babes.
Eureka Springs Art Car Parade
Saturday, May 23rd, 2pm, Downtown Eureka Springs, AR
I have been wanting and planning to paint my car for years and this year, I have a much smaller car and intend to get that done. Then I can roll down the road with all the visiting cartists and mingle with them at the art car parties that will inevitably spring up around town. Oh, yeah, I love me some wacky artists flying in the face of car status materialism!

Intro to Polymer Clay
June 15-19, 2009, Eureka Springs School of the Arts, Eureka Springs, AR Enrolling NOW!
Explore the fun medium of polymer clay in this overview designed to give you hands on familiarity with the tools and techniques fundamental to the art and craft of polymer clay. We will experiment with surface textures and finishes, learn how to make Skinner blends, simulate mokume gane and natural materials, and learn the basics of canework. Each student will have the opportunity to focus their work on the techniques which they find the most inspiring and to create a mosaic wall hanging reflecting their process and style. Because polymer clay is such a versatile and forgiving medium, this class is a good fit for those looking for their first hands-on art encounter as well as for experienced artists looking to play around with a new medium.

Eureka Springs Artists Studio Tour
Friday and Saturday, September 25-26, 10:00- 6:00, and Sunday, September 27, 10:00-4:00 Eureka Springs, AR
This will be my 3rd year participating in the Studio Tour and I love it! There is only one problem. I can't go on it myself! It seems like a treasure hunt to me. You pick up a booklet about the artists and follow the maps to studios filled with life-affirming treasures. Please come see me and and my most recent work, enjoy a look around the studio and a rest on the patio. Of course, I show my work and studio year round by appointment, but these days are extra festive here and all around town. At my studio, i'll be working on a commission, offering a few special studio only items for sale, and serving sparkling fruit juice, with or without the spike!, and of course, coffee and chocolates. Tour maps are available at The Visitors Center, The Art Colony, Chamber of Commerce, and Keel's Creek Winery and Gallery. I'll also have some hand so if you come here first, I can set you up.

Open Studio Holiday Sale and Party
Friday, December 11, 5:30- 8:30, Eureka Springs, AR
Please join me for a little holiday cheer and a sale. We may have a fire if it's mild enough, although last year's holiday event at the studio found at least one guest hardcore enough to tend to the fire in the 34 degree drizzle! The rest of us talked about art, enjoyed appletinis and sang the munchkins' songs from the Wizard of Oz! It was fun! Please join us for this year's spirits, snacks and shenannigans! And take advantage of the night's zany low prices on prints. I am also working on some original art that will be small and special and priced for gift giving. Please fill out my contact form to join my mailing list and receive invitations to my events.
